Been coming here for over 15 years! I recommend going early in the morning when everything is fresher! All their foods are flavorful! The gorditas de chicharrón are the best. Customer service is always good, never disappointed.
Just north of Glendale on 55th Ave. Step in the door and you might as well be in a small market in Sonora. The best carne asada (two different types of marinated beef that you can grill at home), ceviche (cold shrimp soup), chicken fajitas, gucamole, carne seca, and authentic tortillas (not the type you find at Gringo markets) are all on hand and reasonably priced. A variety of spices, horchata, sauces, etc. are also sold. Maple and coconut candies are available at the checkout . Several prepared dishes are sold by the pound for take out. The ability to speak some Spanish is helpful but not absolutely required, if you know what you are looking for.
